About me

I am an English photographer originally from London and have been based in Nantes, western France for the last 20 years. I have been shooting weddings for over a decade in my own personal style: a marriage of British humour and French aesthetics!
Reportage photography is what comes naturally to me, and what I do best. I don’t take rigid, posed pictures, but follow my visual instinct in capturing the flow of events that constitute the rhythmic journey of a wedding day. Passionate about photographing people, my artistic talent lies in conveying the spontaneity and full force of emotion , that truly define a wedding as a once in a lifetime experience. I photograph international weddings throughout France, from the picturesque setting of Brittany, to the romantic splendour of the Loire valley castles, via the classical beauty of Paris, down to the magical warmth of the South of France.
Being completely bilingual, my cultural and communication skills allow English-speaking couples, getting married in France, to feel totally at ease in front of the camera, helping to make their wedding day a totally fun and stress-free event.
Aside from wedding photography, I have worked in the UK and France for magazines and organisations such as the British Tourist Authority, Amnesty International, Arcelormittal, Le Point and Le Nouvel Observateur. I am a member of a collective of photographers, developing my own personal projects, and have exhibited regularly in art festivals in Nantes. I am also a teacher of photography to graphic design students and run street photography workshops for keen enthusiasts.
