Another wonderful wedding season, blessed with good weather and covering everything from the close intimate family affair with just two dozen people, to the full scale 500-strong celebration. My ambitions remain simple: capture the bridal party and their guests in as flattering and natural way as possible, and provide a visual story for the newlyweds of all those moments that just go past so quickly! I’ve had some great feedback this year, and its truly gratifying to know that you’ve made a very happy couple even happier, when they look back over their wedding photos and rediscover the joy and emotion that everyone shared with them on that special day.
I shoot a mixture of local and international weddings and I can confirm that, despite Brexit, my compatriots continue to vote with their feet, and are still flocking to France as their favoured destination for a romantic nuptial. My 2016 “highlights package” features over fifty per cent of English-speaking weddings and there is no doubt that the pull of fine wine and food, along with some amazing venues, enables these couples to indulge their number one wish : let’s party !
